OC Vital Aging Program Gaining Momentum
The Orange County Vital Aging Program launched 18 months ago and has now completed its second year in the funding cycle. As we did last year at this time, we have reviewed the program's progress and measured its success against the goals we set out to achieve.
You may download this complete statistical summary of results to get a full understanding of how many OC residents have been touched by the program and how many of our local physicians have adopted higher standards of care based on the program's educational efforts. One key figure that demonstrates the impact of the program is this: more than 300 residents per month are now having their memory evaluated, as an important first step in managing their cognitive health.
We are proud of how the community has embraced this program and we look forward to reporting more success in the coming months and years. download
